2020 Sauvignon Blanc 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Robert Surmann vineyard, located in Totness, on black sandy soil with petrified schist. The fruit is destemmed, left to soak and start ferment on berries for 2 weeks. It’s then pressed and fermented and aged in 680L vitrified ceramic eggs. The wine is slightly cloudy with a dark rich golden color. The richness carries through to the nose with cape gooseberry and elderflower. It's a salty palette, voluptuous with perfume from a scented tropical garden lying naked on savory texture.
