65% Riesling from the Kröver Steffensberg; 35% Muskateller from the Kröver Paradies

Very long fermentation (including some carbonic maceration) and aging on the skins for six months in large casks is followed by bottling without filtration or addition of SO2. The wine has a hazy apricot color with refreshing acids, good grip, and generous mouthfeel in spite of its delightfully modest 11.5% alcohol. The palate offers tons of exotic herbs and spices overlaid on honey from the Muscat and finishes long with plenty of mint/rosemary and a faint note of marijuana.
