This is a beautiful Volnay that effortlessly shows the soft, supple nature of the village with an incredible concetration of ripe fruit flavors alongside delicate floral notes. The tannins are round and luxurious, perfectly complemented by a persistent, gossamer acidity. All grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed and fermented traditionally, with aging in old oak barrels for about 18 months. (approximately 20% of the barrels are new ones).
