A spicy and again attractively fresh nose offers up notes of red currant, black raspberry and a hint of violet. The mouth feel of the medium-bodied flavors is also sappy and round with reasonably good vibrancy to the naturally fruit finale.

Fermentation: Wine ferments spontaneously in stainless-steel tanks following total destemming and a 1-2 day cold soak. Time on Lees: Wine remains on its lees until assemblage prior to bottling. Élevage: 15-18 months in 228-l barrels (less than 10% new). Sulfur: Applied at harvest, racking, and bottling; c. 40 mg/l.
