This Champagne is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay. The grapes are hand-harvested from 35-year-old vines rooted in superficial clay-limestone soils. The varietals are vinified separately in oak barrels, then matured for one year in casks. After blending, the wine undergoes an extended aging period of over four years before being disgorged.
