The 2014 Extra Brut Les Vossenelles Vieilles Vignes is 100% Pinot Noir from vines planted in 1964. Rich, vinous and super-expressive, the 2014 captures so many of the best qualities of Charlot’s Champagnes. The natural richness of the old-vine Pinot is especially evident in the wine’s resonance. High-toned floral and spice notes follow through into the creamy, resonant finish. As always, readers have to be willing to look past some eccentricities, but behind that, there is plenty to like. This cuvée is a single barrel bottled for New York importer Polaner Selections. Dosage: 4 gr/L. Disgorged: September, 2019. Organic. Biodynamic
