From 30 year old vines planted on 1 hectare of granite and sandy soils in Vinho Verde, very close to the Atlantic Ocean. The grapes are hand harvested in mid-September and selectively sorted in the vineyard, de-stemmed and spends a few hours on the skins, followed by spontaneous fermentation lasting for two weeks with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks under temperature control for one year.
