Potter Valley has some of the highest diurnal temperature swings in California. While it is inland, the valley floor is more than 1000 feet in elevation and frequently has temperature differentials of more than 40 degrees. This climate has proven ideal for a number of Alsatian varieties.
The 2015 vintage was hand sorted and whole cluster pressed. The wine slowly and coolly fermented in stainless steel more than 100 days. There was no malolactic fermentation. Dry and refreshing
