A beautiful, light and fresh Montepulciano from Abruzzo, Italy. Slightly wild; with some earthy and herbal notes. The fruit profile is darker, showing blackberry and some bitter characters. Fine tannins to close it out.
100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo from Cancelli vineyard. Spontaneous fermentation with 4-7 days skin maceration (depending on vintage). Aged in stainless steel with zero added sulfur and no filtering or fining.
