The wines shows off with intense aromas of strawberry compote, hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, white peppers. I also get subtle underlying minerality in notes of crushed stone. Nice mouth feel with silky tannins. Not your usual fare of chalky, mouth gripping reds, but devilishly delicious ;) It is good, with an intense, broad nose, of strawberry jam, cinnamon, pepper and some more terrestrial tertiary. The mouth is silky, soft, with a great body, which wraps between sweetness and calories.
