The taste of sunshine and the color of sunlight through a window after a rain.
This rosé, from the clay & limestone soil of Touraine in the Middle Loire Valley, is organic & a bit astringent & slightly tannic. Despite those characteristics, it's fruity: cranberry with. Raspberry notes & white pepper in the finish. Initially, bubblegum aromas were a bit off putting. Fortunately, they soon gave away to cranberries with dried herbal notes. Blend: Pineau d'aunis (indigenous grape to the region), Cabernet Franc & Gamay. Unusual but worth a try.
