2020 - Gamay
En Papolet Chenas is one of four wines from the Dutraive family negociant project created in response to crop losses of 90% from storms that ravaged the vineyards of Fleurie. While it is farmed by family friend Paul-Henri Thillardon, it beautifully represents Dutraive's fresh-fruited, soulful style, an etereal texture, along with a savory/sweet component that keeps you coming back for more.
VINIFICATION
Semi-carbon fermentation/maceration; no sulfur in vinification, all wild yeast fermenation
AGING
Aged in combination of stainless steel tank and barrel
