This wine absolutely is beautiful and very elegant. Lovely, golden, slightly-nutty fruit all perfectly balanced with clean acidity. It carries a pronounced weight, but it's satiny texture keeps it light on it's feet. This wine is sourced from five different plots of Dominique Cornin's vineyards.
Planted in Chaintre and Fuisse between 1909 and 1965. The pruning is Guyot system- one arched cane. Fermented in thermoregulated vats; the wine continues to age in these tanks for approximately 12 months over fine lees before bottling. No fining and light filtration.
