After a detrimental attack of vineyard pests 130 years ago, this domaine lay dormant until 1976, when Michel Champliaud bought the land and gave the vineyard its life back. The vineyard is now shared between three villages and is made up of vines between 7 and 57 years which thrive in Burgundy’s famous argilo-calcareous (clay-limestone) soil. This wine is full of character and a real rustic farmer style Burgundy. Subtle notes of strawberry and spice with a surprising grip and long finish.
