The soft, ochre-tinged color is highly evocative of the sun-soaked Provençal countryside. Full of fruit with a touch of spice and citrus peel— balanced and structured—true to its character of previous releases. From sandy soils resting over limestone bedrock in northwestern Bandol, this wine is pink salmon in color. Its nose is redolent of strawberries and tangerines with a sea-like, mineral character. The palate is dry and expressly rich in minerals but balanced by peachy fruit with light strawberry and ebullient, citrusy acidity that really brings the wine to life. A very long finish dwells on citrusy lemon, dried herbs, and minerals. Fantastic!
