A nice Burgundy pinot noir, with expressive aromas of cherry and currants, along with some minerality. Could probably benefit from more time, but already good depth and balance and structured, complex palate with a pleasant finish and fine tannins. Average age of the vines is 50 years old. Located at the border of Vosne-Romanée at a height of 240 meters. Harvested by hand. Macerated at a low temperature with natural yeast. Ferments in vats for 5-6 weeks. Aged for 18 months on fine lees in oak casks, 30% new.
