Michael Cruse, the SF Chronicle Winemaker of the Year, is prodigiously talented. Riddled, disgorged, fastidiously monitored, this Pet Nat wine is crisp, clean, and not the least bit wild. Nearly colorless, a true blanc de noir with cream and bananas on the nose. Fun, drinkable with crushed berries and banana runts. 100% Sankt Laurent, a highly aromatic dark-skinned grape, believed to be a derivative of Pinot Noir and an unknown crossing.
