From Sicily, Weightier than other Etna reds. Lovely perfumed nose, soft red fruits and dark aged cherries. Some pepper. Clean and mineral profile along with a slight sense of alcoholic heat. Nicely extended finish that's almost chewy, like stewed dates. Soft tannins, medium acidity. Very interesting and easy drinking. Reminiscent of a nice pinot noir. Moderate plus acidity. Drink alone or with a burger.
