Beautiful notes of honeyed pineapple, ripe pear, and sweet bergamot spice on the nose. Continues to shine through on the palate. Bright acidity balances the fruit really well. Easy drinking now, expecting it to age quite well in the bottle should you choose to tuck a couple of these bottles away for a year or two :)
100% old vine Catarratto harvested at 250 m on limestone-clay soils. A short skin maceration and spontaneous fermentation in steel and aging on the lees in old large chestnut barrels for 9 months. No added SO2.
